Erik, originally from Washington, grew up in Southern California. He had always been fascinated with capturing a photo with a view that no one’s seen before. For as long as he can remember, and before cell phones were even a thing, he always had some sort of camera in his hands. There was something about this vision that he knew he had a passion for.
Later in Erik’s life, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by joining the Union Ironworkers local 433. Completely comfortable with heights and a passion for architecture, he found himself up on high rise buildings and bridges with views that were like nothing else & that words didn’t seem to explain. This only fueled his passion to be able to capture these views for others, to see what he could see.
In late 2018, the DJI Mavic Series was in full effect. Of course, Erik couldn’t help but find himself investing in his future of photography. Finally, he was able to show others what he has been trying to explain for so many years. With photography as a lifelong passion, coupled with a drone, he is now able to give a birds eye view of every detail on the surface of this world we live in.
